Yorkie Breeder Near You | GorjessPets Yorkie Puppy

When we are asked how much are Yorkshire Terrier Puppies? It is easy to rattle off a price. But it really goes much deeper than that. Our Yorkies are priced according to the quality of puppies I am offering. When I have Yorkie puppies for sale, I take breeding puppies into this world as my responsibility no matter what. I invite you to see actual comments from people who have purchased puppies from me in the left margin. I hope when you see Yorksire Terrier puppies for sale, you take into consideration the breeder\’s values and how high the bar they set for their breeding programs.[spacer height=\”20px\”]

Costs reflect the quality of the puppies and the love and care. Our prices reflect our goal of level top-lines, good bites, tight knees and a history of non-genetic defects. Healthy, happy puppies are our greatest concern.[spacer height=\”20px\”]

All puppies leaving my possession will be a minimum of 12 weeks of age depending on size of puppy to facilitate adequate socialization, as well as, appropriate emotional and temperament development.[spacer height=\”20px\”]

My puppies are raised above and beyond their costs to me. I provide pups that have been showered with love, attention and health care, with very carefully planned breedings. Please be careful when selecting a puppy. Good breeders put all of their time and A LOT of their money into the care of their dogs and pups.[spacer height=\”20px\”]

Raising a litter of quality Yorkie pups is very costly to reputable Yorkie breeders. We work very hard to raise the best quality pups possible, and we work around the clock with no breaks other than sleep. I cannot stress to you how careful you should be when selecting your little companion… take your time and select a breeder who is not trying to move a pup quickly to just take your hard-earned money. Most reputable Yorkie breeders do not even profit a whole lot from their litters, although they should be compensated for their work.[spacer height=\”20px\”]

Considering the around-the-clock care, cleaning, feeding, health care, supplies, grooming, and above all, the devotion a good breeder puts into any litter, as well as, the permanent, loving care they provide to their adult Yorkies year round. You can bet if you find a breeder like this, you are going to get what you pay for.[spacer height=\”20px\”]

In my opinion, you need to contact the actual breeder. Google the breeder\’s name and or kennel and see if there are any positive or negative issues. Of course even the best breeder can have an unhappy customer now and then, but it is the responsibility of the future puppy owner to do your own research when you see Yorkie puppies for sale or any puppy for sale.[spacer height=\”20px\”]

Once you have decided on the breed you are looking for, visit the internet and find the NATIONAL BREED CLUB for your breed. Review all the information about the breed and find the web pages or phone contacts of breeders that are listed there. National breed clubs almost always have certain standards and ethics quides for any breeders which are listed on their pages.

Step 1

Prepare a questionnaire of questions you want to ask the breeder. This is a good one:

  1. What health guarantees do you have?
  2. Can you give me a vet reference?
  3. Can I visit your kennel and if so, when?
  4. How long have you been breeding?
  5. Do you enter your own dogs in AKC events?
  6. Can you send me a sample copy of your contract?
  7. Do you sell your litters to pet stores or brokers? (there is NO responsible breeder that will sell to a broker or a pet store, since it is too difficult to follow through on who is getting your puppy!!)
  8. The LAST question should be \”how much do your puppies cost?\” but it is of course an important question[spacer height=\”20px\”]

Step 2

Do make plans to visit the kennel and while there check the following things:

  1. Are the dogs healthy and happy?
  2. Does the kennel owner know each one by name?
  3. Do the dogs have places to run outside their pens?
  4. Are the pens clean and roomy?(even if the home is a mess or in an uproar and not very neat, the kennels should be clean and all dogs should have food and fresh water available)
  5. Is the whelping area in the house? (puppies should be raised INSIDE a home for at least the first four weeks in order to get all the necessary social and physical attention needed in the first few weeks)
  6. Do the sire and the dam act friendly and sociable? (sometimes the STUD dog may not be available, the female may have been shipped elsewhere for breeding)
